Google Earth Engine

Google Earth Engine is used to analyse satellite imagery in the browser. The training covers the code editor, image collections, indices such as NDVI and a basic classification.

Syllabus

• Use the Code Editor, the data catalog and Earth Engine objects
• Filter image collections by date, place and cloud cover
• Make a composite and mask clouds
• Calculate indices such as NDVI and inspect bands
• Chart a simple time series
• Run a basic image classification
• Export a result as a GeoTIFF or table
